Terms and Conditions
1. General Terms
Welcome to InkMasters! These terms outline our commitment to providing professional tattoo services. By using our services, you acknowledge and agree to these terms, designed to ensure a safe and effective experience for all our clients. Our studio operates under strict professional guidelines and health regulations to maintain the highest standards of safety and artistry. All clients must be at least 18 years of age and present valid government-issued identification before any service. We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time, with continued use of our services constituting acceptance of any changes.
2. Studio Etiquette
Our studio maintains a professional and respectful environment. We prohibit: Arriving intoxicated for appointments, harassment of artists or clients, unauthorized photography of artwork, and bringing minors without proper documentation. Clients are expected to arrive on time for appointments, maintain personal hygiene, and follow all studio protocols. We maintain a zero-tolerance policy for discriminatory behavior or harassment of any kind. Violation of these rules may result in immediate service termination without refund. Cell phone use during tattooing is discouraged, and guests accompanying clients must be approved in advance.
3. Artistic Rights
All tattoo designs created by our artists are protected intellectual property. While you own the tattoo on your body, the original artwork remains the property of the artist. Reproduction of custom designs is strictly prohibited without explicit permission. Our artists invest significant time and creativity in developing unique designs, and we respect their artistic rights. This includes sketches, digital designs, and any preliminary artwork created during the consultation process. Clients may request modifications to designs but cannot claim ownership of the original artwork. Any unauthorized use of our designs for commercial purposes will be subject to legal action.
4. Liability Disclaimer
While we maintain strict hygiene standards, tattoo procedures carry inherent risks. We are not liable for allergic reactions, healing complications due to improper aftercare, or dissatisfaction due to unrealistic expectations not discussed during consultation. All clients must disclose relevant medical conditions, medications, and allergies before proceeding. We follow all health department regulations and industry best practices for sterilization and safety. Clients with certain medical conditions may be required to provide physician approval before receiving services. The studio is not responsible for complications arising from undisclosed medical conditions.
5. Policy Updates
Our policies evolve with industry standards and regulations. Changes take effect immediately upon posting. We recommend reviewing our terms before each appointment as safety protocols may be updated. Major policy changes will be communicated through our website and studio notices. It is the client's responsibility to stay informed about current policies and procedures. We maintain detailed records of all policy versions and their effective dates for reference.
6. Booking Process
Appointments require a valid deposit and signed consent form. Clients must provide accurate medical history and contact information. Booking slots are personal and non-transferable without studio approval. Deposits are non-refundable but may be transferred to a different date with 48 hours notice. Last-minute cancellations or no-shows forfeit their deposit and may be required to pay increased deposits for future bookings. We require a minimum of 24 hours notice for appointment rescheduling.
7. Privacy Commitment
Your privacy is paramount. We protect client photos, design discussions, and personal information. Our practices adhere to both local and international data protection standards. Client information is stored securely and never shared with third parties without explicit consent. This includes medical history, contact details, and design preferences. We maintain strict confidentiality regarding all client interactions and implement regular security updates to protect digital records.
8. Social Media & Portfolio
We may request to photograph completed work for our portfolio. You have the right to decline. When sharing our work, we respect client privacy and only post with explicit permission. Photos may be used on our website, social media platforms, or printed materials. Clients can specify their privacy preferences regarding photo sharing. We never share identifying information without consent and will remove any posted content upon request.
9. Service Refusal
We reserve the right to decline service for: Inappropriate design requests, unsafe conditions, clients showing signs of intoxication, or any situation our artists deem unprofessional or risky. This includes requests for hate symbols, explicit content, or designs that violate our ethical standards. We may also refuse service to clients who have previously violated studio policies or demonstrated aggressive behavior. Our artists maintain full discretion in accepting or declining any tattoo project.
10. Digital Tracking
Our website uses tracking tools to enhance user experience and appointment management. These help us maintain accurate booking records and improve our online services. Cookies and similar technologies are employed to remember preferences and optimize site functionality. Users can adjust their browser settings to manage tracking preferences. We regularly audit our digital tools to ensure compliance with privacy regulations and industry standards.
11. Legal Framework
Our services comply with local health department regulations and professional tattooing standards. Any disputes fall under local jurisdiction where our studio operates. We maintain all required licenses and permits, regularly updating them as needed. Our artists complete ongoing training in safety and best practices. All legal matters will be addressed according to the laws of our operating jurisdiction, with mediation as the first step in dispute resolution.
12. Conflict Resolution
We address concerns through direct communication with our studio management. Touch-ups within our guarantee period should be discussed with your original artist first. All complaints are documented and reviewed by management within 48 hours. We strive to resolve issues fairly and promptly, maintaining detailed records of all client communications and resolution attempts. Serious disputes may be referred to independent mediation services.
13. Service Guarantee
While we strive for excellence, tattoo results can vary based on skin type, aftercare, and healing. Touch-ups may be needed and are handled case-by-case within our policy guidelines. Free touch-ups are offered within 3 months of the original tattoo, provided clients have followed all aftercare instructions. This guarantee covers normal healing imperfections but does not include significant design changes or issues resulting from improper aftercare. Additional charges may apply for extensive modifications or touch-ups beyond the guarantee period.
14. Client Communication
We welcome feedback about your experience. Contact us through our studio phone, email, or during business hours for any questions about our services or policies. Response times typically range from 24-48 hours for non-urgent matters. Emergency contacts are provided to clients during the healing process. We maintain regular communication channels through social media and our newsletter for studio updates and policy changes.
15. Final Provisions
Continuing with our services indicates acceptance of these terms. We maintain the right to refuse service to anyone not complying with our studio policies. These terms constitute the entire agreement between the client and studio. Any modifications to these terms must be in writing and approved by studio management. Invalid provisions shall be replaced by valid ones that best approximate the intended purpose.
